Saaremaa can be reached by plane or ferry.

The plane flies from Tallinn to Kuressaare with duration of ca 35 minutes. The ferry goes between the harbours of Virtsu (mainland) and Kuivastu (Muhu Island) and takes ca 30 minutes.
